Vision

In alignment with the school’s vision of cultivating Lifelong Learners, the team of Music Teachers here at Bendemeer Primary strives towards nurturing Promising Pupil-Musicians who have:

  1. Growing musical interest,
  2. Awakening musical sensitivity, as well as
  3. Budding musical potential

which allows for optimal pursuit of the art form later on in their lives.

As depicted below, it is hoped that at the end of 6 years of Primary School Education, pupils will continue to progress into better musical versions of themselves, just as a blossoming flower always does in the spirit of lifelong learning.

Mission

Inspired by a student-centric BLOOM approach uniquely adapted to the learning profiles of the pupils here at Bendemeer, the team plans accordingly so that:

  1. Opportunities are given to all pupils to successfully
  2. Learn inside & outside of school, which in the process
  3. Meets their musical needs/expectations & importantly,
  4. Builds their musical confidence;

all of which are crucial elements fulfilling the school’s mission of forming Independent & Inquiring Learners.
