Our Learning for Life programme (LLP) entitled Bendemeer’s TEMPO, is designed to foster a love for music and the performing arts, personal growth and positive relationships.
Grounded in Positive Education principles, our programme aims to develop students’ strengths, resilience and well-being. Through music and performing arts education, we inculcate the school values of ASPIRE.
Each letter in the word TEMPO represents the cornerstones of the programme as shown below:

Bendemeer’s TEMPO adopts a 2-tiered approach towards enhancement of Music and Performing Arts opportunities.
‘Music and Performing Arts for All’ provides a foundational tier, offering inclusive and engaging music and performing arts experiences for every student, regardless of background or skill level. This first tier focuses on developing music and performing arts awareness, appreciation and basic musical and performing arts skills.
The second tier, ‘Music and Performing Arts for Life’, offers specialised training and mentorship for students who demonstrate a deeper passion and talent for music and the performing arts. This tier nurtures advanced skills, creativity and performance excellence, preparing students for a lifelong journey of musical and performing arts exploration and enrichment.
