Singapore Traffic Games 2024

Our partner, the Traffic Police, invited our Primary 4 and Primary 5 students to participate in the finals of the Singapore Traffic Games 2024 on 8 November 2024. The students were awarded Certificates of Proficiency after competing with other schools in areas such as road safety knowledge and civic awareness.
Alumni Homecoming during Teachers’ Day 2024

During the Teachers’ Day celebrations on 29 August 2024, our alumni returned to Bendemeer Primary to reconnect with their former teachers. Around 80 former students gathered in the school hall that morning, with many arriving right after their secondary school celebrations—some even traveling from distant locations. This heartfelt reunion is a testament to the lasting impact our BPS teachers have had on their lives.

Our Primary 6 students received a delightful surprise on the morning of 12 August 2024. Each student was gifted a stationery care pack by our generous partner, Kolam Ayer Community Club. This thoughtful gesture was intended to encourage and wish our P6 Bendemeer Primary School students the very best for their PSLE. The students were excited and deeply grateful for this kind support from Dr. Wan Rizal, Adviser to Jalan Besar GRC GROs, and the staff of Kolam Ayer Community Club.
Visit to Toa Payoh Bus Interchange during Kindness Month

As part of Kindness Month, our Primary 5 Student Leaders visited the SBS Transit Bus Captains at Toa Payoh Bus Interchange on 16 May 2024. During the visit, the Student Leaders interacted with the staff and distributed handwritten notes of appreciation. Their thoughtful gestures and words of gratitude brought smiles to the faces of the hardworking Bus Captains. This outreach initiative strengthens the partnership between Bendemeer Primary School and SBS Transit, fostering a spirit of giving back to the community and spreading kindness.
2024 Civil Defence Junior Lionhearters Challenge


Our courageous NE Champs participated in the 2024 Civil Defence Junior Lionhearters Challenge on 23 February 2024, an event organised by the Singapore Civil Defence Force. Leading up to the challenge, the team dedicated significant time and effort to mastering First Aid skills, locating AEDs around the school, earning their Community Emergency Preparedness Tier 1 Certificates, and designing their own version of the SCDF Ready Bag, complete with a custom-painted design.
During the challenge, the team demonstrated exceptional teamwork and resilience as they competed against other primary schools, solving puzzles and answering quizzes related to emergency preparedness. We are proud to share that their Ready Bag design ranked among the top 10 schools! The team was thrilled that their hard work paid off and thoroughly enjoyed the experience.
Lions Befrienders’ Sustainability Exhibition

On 20 February 2024, Lions Befrienders (Bendemeer 32) Active Aging Centre organised its first exhibition on sustainability and invited our students to attend and interact with the elderly. During the visit, our students shared insights on climate change and upcycling with the staff and had an engaging time learning about sustainability through interactive activities and play!
Ground Deployment Exercise in BPS!

On 27 January 2024, members of the Singapore Police Force (SPF) and the Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF) conducted a combined Ground Deployment Exercise at Bendemeer Primary School. Officers utilized our school to simulate emergency scenarios, showcasing the strong partnership we share with SPF and SCDF.
